Happiness is a direction, not a place. —Sydney J.Harris
Introduction
Pandemic, indeed, changed all of us unintentionally. We all started new habits from working out at home to getting more involved in volunteering works for a better world.
It didn’t take me long to notice changes in my life style. In this post, I’ll tell you about some habits that I believe brought back my smile after this worldwide crisis started.
so let’s dive in
1. work out with your loved ones
I started working out by myself with some YouTube tutorials which seemed really fun. But honestly, procrastination was always there and stopped me from doing my best and keeping up with my exercises.
My routine was missing something or if I should be more clear, someone.
I decided to work out with my lovely mom and our personal trainer via WhatsApp, which would cause me to be ready at a particular time as I knew they will wait for me to get ready so I would feel responsible as a result. It didn’t only added joy to my life but also boosted my energy.
My advise would be don’t push yourself to do workouts alone and thus get someone to do it with you. If you can understand Farsi then this is my personal trainer’s WhatsApp number, so just shoot her a message and she would love to talk to you guys. Pooyan Moslehi : +989133878068

2. Baking
Baking is just a therapy, especially if it’s with the people you love. I started baking since the lock down started. As I was living with my friends, we would bake together and enjoy ourselves. All the works put into preparing the icing took me away from all the sadness in the world.
I highly recommend you to watch some YouTube tutorials check out Pinterest for some guides.
3. crocheting
You may think crocheting is hard but believe me it’s one of the easiest things to do to get away from all the stress. It helps you to focus on one task, so if you are tired of your studies or want a break from this world just start learning crocheting.
So far, I made my self socks and I cannot wait for Christmas to come so I can crochet some socks for my loved ones.
When you got better in basics of crocheting, I recommend you to get free patterns from : https://www.garnstudio.com/search.php?action=browse&sort=date&lang=us
4. Crafting
I believe crafting, specially journals and scrap books are the best ways of looking at past moments and get happier.
so trust me! Get a book, some papers and photos so you can start your scrap book!
Plus check out: https://www.hobbycraft.co.uk for the items you may need for crafting!
Conclusion
Feeling happy is the result of what you do for yourself and people around you.
As these days are some of the hardest times of our life, we all should be there for each other and by baking, working out, crocheting or making scrapbooks make each other happy.
So go and grab whatever you can because if you want to feel better during this time you should start now.
XOXO cuties
